Introduction

The hood struts over time will lose their ability to fully support the weight of the hood.

Its a really easy fix that even a first time DIYer can accomplish!

  1. Open Hood to expose struts

    • Open Hood to expose struts

    Edit

    • Before removing struts , support the hood.

  3. Using a small flat head screw driver , pry open metal clips on the top and bottom of strut
