  1. Using 8mm Hex Socket, remove drain plug Open Oil Filler in Trunk compartment to allow oil to drain faster.
    • Using 8mm Hex Socket, remove drain plug

    • Open Oil Filler in Trunk compartment to allow oil to drain faster.

    • Let oil drain for at least one hour.

    • Oil will be hot, use caution!

  2. Use 14 Flute Oil Filter Cap Removal tool to loosen Plastic Filter Cap Set a Ziploc bag on the oil filter cover once the oil filter cover is loose and take away the oil filter cover. This can reduce mess.

  3. Note: the notch in the filter cover. Lift the O-ring with a pick or plier . This will allow you to stay away from any damage to the threading. Install New Filter and Tighten Cap to 19 ft/lb Reinstall and tighten drain plug to 37ft lb, It is crucial you use a new crush washer.

    • Install New Filter and Tighten Cap to 19 ft/lb

    • Reinstall and tighten drain plug to 37ft lb, It is crucial you use a new crush washer.

  4. Cayman Oil Filler Cap is located on right side of trunk.
    • Cayman Oil Filler Cap is located on right side of trunk.

    • Factory recommends 7.75L or Approximately 8.5 Qts of oil is required.

    • Lay towels around filler cap to prevent damage to interior.
